Job Title: Ranch Manager
Jobsite Location: 57001 FM 1379, Midland, TX 79706
Job Duties: Workers will be on call for up to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and workers will spend the majority of the workdays during the contract period in the herding or production of livestock on the range. Duties shall include, but are not limited to: operate a tractor and ranch/farming implements (including but not limited to implements associated with commodity production), maintain and operate sub-surface drip tape irrigation, and build and / or maintain net wire fencing and minor road repair associated with commodity production and herding. The anticipated days and hours of work per week as follows: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch at noon.
Requirements: Qualified applicants must be able to lift 50lbs.; obtain driver’s license; stand for long periods; engage in repetitive movements, frequent stooping or bending over, and extensive sitting or walking; withstand exposure to extreme temperatures; and have at least 18 months’ prior experience in herd production within the cattle ranching industry.
